What it does and what it gives you

Generates additional sitemaps: video, images, news, RSS and author. These help search engines understand specific content better.

How to use it

Go to Sitemaps.
Enable the desired extra sitemaps.
Test the URLs (e.g. https://yoursite.com/sitemap-video.xml).
Submit the separate URLs to Google Search Console.

Example

You have lots of video content. By enabling the video sitemap, Google can index your videos and show rich snippets.

Potential issues & solutions

Video sitemap is empty: ensure videos are embedded in published posts.
News sitemap not allowed: your site must be approved by Google News for this.
