TruSEO Score

What it does and what it gives you

TruSEO gives your content a 0-100 score based on title, meta, heading structure, keyword density, internal links and images. It's your real-time SEO checklist within the editor.

How to use it

1. Open a post or page.
2. Scroll to the Fyndable SEO meta box.
3. Expand the SEO Score section.
4. Read the feedback: green = good, orange = improvement, red = critical gap.
5. Adjust title, meta or structure.
6. Save the post and repeat until the score is consistently above 80.

Example

You're writing an article about "sustainable coffee". TruSEO reports that your focus keyword isn't in the H1 and the meta description is too long. Change the H1 to "Sustainable coffee: what you need to know" and shorten the description to under 160 characters.

Potential issues & solutions

• Score stays low despite good content: check if you've set a focus keyword and if the heading structure is logical (H1 → H2 → H3).
• Incorrect keyword density: use your keyword naturally; Fyndable warns about over-optimization.
