What it does and what it gives you

LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords are related terms and synonyms. By incorporating them, your content becomes more semantic and better understood by search engines.

How to use it

  1. First set a focus keyword in Smart Tags or the Keywords panel.
  2. Open Keywords (LSI) in the meta box.
  3. Click Generate LSI Keywords.
  4. Select 3-5 relevant terms and incorporate them naturally in your text.

Example

Focus keyword: "electric bike". LSI suggestions: "e-bike", "battery capacity", "range", "bike insurance". Use "battery capacity" in a heading about battery life.

Potential issues & solutions

  • Suggestions are too generic: provide more context in the focus keyword, e.g. "electric bike buying".
  • Keyword stuffing: don't use all suggestions; pick only terms that fit.
