What it does and what it gives you

Detects pages that are losing positions or traffic. It gives per-post historical overview and refresh advice.

How to use it

  1. Go to Content Decay (if visible in your menu) or open Position Trends in the editor.
  2. Sort by declining positions or declining traffic.
  3. Click a post.
  4. Read the advice: e.g. "update statistics", "expand the topic" or "improve internal links".

Example

You see that your article "SEO tips 2024" has dropped from position 3 to 12. The advice is: update to 2025, incorporate new trends and replace old screenshots.

Potential issues & solutions

  • No data: connect Search Console or GA4 first in Integrations.
  • All posts seem to decline: check if there's an algorithm update or seasonal pattern.
